About Me

My name is Ziba Saatchian, PsyD, I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I currently work out of our Glendale office, providing Individual Psychotherapy, Couple's Therapy, Play Therapy and Family Therapy. I also administer Psychological and Neuro-psychological Evaluations for children, adolescent, and adults.

I use an integrative approach in my work. I integrate a trauma-informed psychodynamic approach, using tools and techniques from Internal Family Systems and Transpersonal Psychotherapy, as well as evidenced-based tools from Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, allowing me to tailor a well rounded treatment plan suited to each individual’s specific needs.

I work in close collaboration with my clients, listening, asking questions, and providing observations and guided tools.

I have worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults dealing with issues ranging from anxiety, depression, complex traumas, PTSD, autism and childhood developmental disorders, personality disorders, compulsive behavior disorders, as well as relational and communication issues.

My work with clients is spiritually based, which allows me to have a deep respect for the dignity, potential and capabilities of each individual. Together with each individual, we explore the external circumstances, as well as the coping skills and choices which have brought them to a place of mental, spiritual and physical dis-ease, and collaboratively work to tap into their internal and external resources to strengthen and help them live a more healthy, positive and enriched life.
